Sandra | 31408 comments Hi, fairly experienced librarian here, however, I'm not sure how to proceed with this case.

I've come across a request to combine editions however, the author name is throwing me. It is an asian name and one profile is the surname, first name and the other is the first name, surname. And I have no idea which is which.

The major profile is not the same as the cover of the books & also WorldCat. Neither author page is claimed & there is also no author information listed.

I'm inclined to go with the Covers & WorldCat, what does everyone think?

lethe | 16359 comments I don't think it matters which is the first name and which the last name if they are all listed the same way on the book covers.

If there are differences (first name-last name and last name-first name, happens sometimes with international versus Chinese editions), then a decision needs to be made.

Sandra | 31408 comments Further investigation - all covers appear to have the spelling one way, WorldCat has both.
