SOLVED. Paranormal Romance Vampire Mayor [s]

I remember reading this book where a female protagonist asks for the vampire mayor for protection for her pregnant sister, in exchange she would be his assistant or something. The father of the baby got turned into a vampire and is trying to get the baby from the sister.

I also remember that in the beginning of the book, the protagonist hits the attacking vampire with a baseball bat, then sends her sister to the hospital when she starts having her baby. Afterwards, she walks with wounds and blood on her to the mayors building and asks for protection, then she faints.
