Please Help with Correcting Series Order

Hi:
I'm trying to renumber my series to reflect how they're listed on the retailer sites. I've tried to make the change by editing the details of each book...and the changes show up if I click on "all editions" -- but when I try to click on the updated one and set it as the default, it just reverts back to the original number/page. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but help correcting it would be greatly appreciated. Changes are:
Dreaming of Forever - ASIN: B011J6QNUE - was Gold Creek Series Book 0.5, now Book 1
Flirting with Forever - ASIN: B015QLJJCW - was Gold Creek Series Book 1, now Book 2
Promise Me Forever - ASIN: B01EDDUAC2 - was Gold Creek Series Book 2, now Book 3

Goodreads does not number series the way some retailers do. Novellas and other shorts get decimal numbering here.

Thank you for responding. Yes, I understand the numbering is different here in some cases. Originally, I designated my first in series (Dreaming of Forever) as Book 0 on retail sites because it was first published as a 47 page novelette. It was assigned 0.5 over here.

That book has since been expanded and is now a 208 page book and there are two follow on books in the series. I've now renumbered the series because people mistook the first as a prequel to the second - which is not the case. Which is why I want them to flow as 1, 2, 3 now. Each of the books qualifies, in terms of length, for a full number - I just can't figure out how to do it?

Cate, since the novella has been expanded to a full-length book, I changed the series number from 0.5 to 1, then bumped the other two books accordingly.

Authors cannot edit series information, so you'll need to post a request in this folder when you want work done on a series.

ETA: I added the paperback edition Promise Me Forever

Thanks so much for the help with this - I really appreciate it! Thank you also for adding the paperback edition of Promise Me Forever. I also have paperback editions for the other two books in the series. Could you help me list those as well?
