Jack Reacher wrong page count

It says 608 pages, but I own this book, same ISBN-13, and it has 526 pages. Please correct page count. It says in the book that this is "B format" edition.

Also, it says that "A format" https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... has 526 pages, which I'm quite sure can't be true. But i don't have that particular edition.

Someone made a mistake here.

The "A format" book has 525 pages on Worldcat, so that looks to be correct (the last partially printed page is often unnumbered).
The print might be very small.

ETA Plus the page count was added by someone who read the actual book.

Yes, I checked WorldCat before asking for ISBN confirmation and just wanted to remove all doubt (since no ISBN was specified up front).

Back cover, ISBN: 9780553825510

Front of the book: page 6 (first numbered page is 11, where story starts, pages 1-10 are not numbered), it says this:

It doesn't say which is "A format", and which is "B format".
But I have other books to compare. Personal (Jack Reacher #19). There it says in front that ISBN 9780857502674 is "A format", and there is that same ISBN on the back cover. Those paperback editions are smaller in size (like, Mass Market Paperback). 17,6 x 11 cm. And page number for this book (Personal, "A format") is OK on Goodreads. So, The Affair, book we are talking about, ISBN-13 9780553825510 , has 526 pages. Last numbered page is 525, but the story ends on 526. So anyway, it can't be 608. Not THIS edition... unless... do you think it may be possible that another print had same ISBN but let's say bigger font... so more pages? Or extra story added? I will show you this, and the rest, on another example.

There are larger paperback editions, in example:
A Wanted Man (Jack Reacher #17), bought this one: ISBN-13 9780553825527 and that is "B format"... B, like bigger :) 19,6 x 12,7 cm ... So when you open those Jack Reacher books by Bantam, you have two ISBN numbers. Upper is "B format", lower is "A format". If you use same ISBN but replace last 2 digits "27" with "34" you will get "A format", the one that should be smaller (I don't have it). And now here is problem on Goodreads: It says 528 pages, both editions. But when I open the book, the one I bought, story ends on 524. 525 and 526 are empty, 527 is titled "Exclusive Extract" and there is cover of "Jack Reacher: Never Go Back" coming in August 2013, and 528 is empty... 529 is beginning of the story (Extract from Never Go Back), and it ends on 553 (last numbered 552). So according to Goodreads rules, does this count? It's either 524 or 553, I am not THAT experienced GR user to tell, so you decide. But it's not 528. I am looking at it right now... if you want pics... just say, will provide as soon as I can.

Interestingly, while here extract is not counted, in book "Personal", ISBN 9780857502674 (A format, smaller format), extract is included in GR page numbering, as well as short story "Not a Drill" (Jack Reacher #18.5), and number of pages is correct.

I haven't opened other Jack Reacher books, so I can't tell if there are other things... But if there are, I will provide complete list of what I have.

Both formats are here. How can it be? It says 18 cm (I guess that would be 17,6). One edition is smaller, the other is bigger... so I think something is wrong here. But on the other hand, here is correct: http://www.worldcat.org/title/affair-...
In several other editions on Worldcat there is ISBN number ending on "10" (the one we are talking about) and it says 525 p. (526 to be precise), so the first link where both "03" and "10" are present must be wrong. And now look at this one: http://www.worldcat.org/title/affair/... Here is ISBN ending on "03", and it says 541 p., 20 cm (that would be "B format", right?) And then there is again ISBN ending on "03" (B format) but it says 525 p., which must be wrong...? http://www.worldcat.org/title/affair/...

I was checking editions of "Personal" on Goodreads, and it seems there are a few paperback editions with different ISBNs... So it may be that someone made a mistake and wrote wrong ISBN to wrong book.

Corrected page count for ISBN 9780553825510 (B-format) to 526.
ISBN 9780553825503 (A-format) already had 526.

The fact that both ISBNs are printed in the front of your book support my theory that both editions have the same typesetting, only the A-format is smaller-sized (including the font).

Don't have time now to check the other titles, but extracts and the like are not (should not be) included in the page number on Goodreads.

I was just reading and reminding myself about page numbering rules. So if I got this right, what about this book, how to apply rules in this situation:

So we have book title Jack Reacher #19, after that very short preview (extract) from Jack Reacher #20, and after that a short story Jack Reacher #18.5
What to do here? Not include anything? Because people will want to read short story that was, I think, published as ebook... And there is no way to count those pages in separate way... right? Because it is in same book, same isbn... Or maybe add it as separate edition, without ISBN, and count pages of that short story in book, and write a note that it is included in certain book...

Any idea, advice?

(Or maybe the best thing, when I encounter that, explain everything here and leave it to librarians to do whatever they think is right) :) But I would like to learn, because I hope that I would be a librarian one day, and solve some mess among books in my native language, without asking help for any detail I encounter...
