So what happened was I voted once, I think for Orenda. And I accidentally clicked change my vote a few days later and I think i chose Portendra because I liked both of their meaning but forgot which was which.?

Well I've just been informed that Orenda sounds like a Spanish word that means hideous, so I don't know if that influences lol

Since it's Evelin and she's a native speaker, I believe her. She said it's close at least. Horrendo means hideous/horrific(?), and the H is silent, so it would sound similar. But it's no big deal I think.

And Idk where it came from (meaning I don't remember where I got it) Orenda and Querencia were the ones I was torn between, and while I voted for the former in the poll...I think rather have Querencia. That's just my vote.

But, yeah- I'd vote for Querencia. Because Orenda means "Spiritual force in which accomplishment is accounted" in Iroquois or so, which is nice, but doesn't sound like what I pictured the school.

Querencia, on the other hand, can mean "The place where one's strength is drawn from. Where one feels at home- where you are your most authentic self" in Spanish.
