Poor Nobody is having a meltdown because she accideantally clicked the modchat and she's like stress eating brownies because her screen messed up and she clicked here instead of Whistlepitch.

Thanks! :D
Thanks! :D
Sorry guys!!!!
I'm on Moutain time, (same as Emily) but I'm usually off by nine/ten o clock, and I pretty much NEVER get on in the mornings, so... Sorry you had to wait so long!
I had some of the same ideas you posted here while I was off eating breakfast...
We could have it currently be taking place during the fourth book, while all the main characters are off in alluveterre making stick machines and reading really lame empath books. Which is basically the same thing you guys already said but more specific.
I've been thinking, a lot of people in character creation are just linking to images for character creation instead of writing description, which isn't a bad thing, but DOES get a little annoying with my I-Hate-Links computer sometimes, so I was wondering if we could make a rule that they have to have a little bit of written description, even if they also put an image?

It's really fine, Amelia! : )
All of those ideas are great! I like the idea with the time period too.
If your computer does that, then maybe other people also have that similar problem. We should ask the players to give an actual description of the character and also, if they choose to, a link to the character.

Do you guys think that since we are the mods that we can just create the residence for our characters instead of requesting to create a thread for that?
I had another idea to but I forgot what it was...
hmm...
Oh yeah!
We've had kinda problems with having so many Pyros and Frosters, and while we've kinda got it under control now, I was thinking about it more, and I think part of the problem might be how few abilities there actually are that we know about.
And I've read a couple of Keeper fanfics, and I notice that a lot of people tend to make up new abilities for them. So I was thinking we could maybe add a thread for people to request new abilities?
Oh, and I just want to point out that I make a TON of suggestions, and that I do not expect you to take them all seriously, so if you ever want to be like: "Amelia, that is NOT a good idea" or "No, that'll just overcomplicate things," feel free to do so because you'll probably be right.

But those suggestions are really good!
I think that the whole 'create new abilities' is an excellent idea! I was thinking about that myself a little while ago.

Yeah, I thought if people could think up their own cool abilities, then it might make us a little less likely to make a billion pyros...
So I was thinking that maybe we should create a thread where we ask the members to type in the characters they've already created. That way we don't have to scroll all the way down on the Chafacter Creation thread. What do you guys think?
Sure thing! I was thinking it as a place for members to store their characters. So go right ahead. I'll make mine later. :D
Another Exillium character? Yay! Nagay won't be alone anymore.
Nagaya: I like being alone.
Shut up. Anyway, that's not what I came here about. There's some talk in the thread suggestion thread (I think) about making some of the canon characters into characters that everyone plays so we don't have to make a mess of things trying to avoid them.
And what we have over there seems like it will work fine for minor characters, but it makes me think: I think that we really should try to arrange some way for people to have their characters interact with MCs.
We're okay for now, but we're going to need it eventually.
Anyways.
Any ideas?

Eeeeeeek. Well, let's wait a whole month or until everyone in the group has read Lodestar so that we can see if it would affect any of our people before we make decisions because honestly, the main group is getting more and more unpredictable and I think it would be ridiculously hard to play them. I've tried it before and it's not easy.
That explains it. Well, I was just a little hesitant about that character because it says her family is more notable than the Vackers, but I don't think that would happen with five kids. It explains in Lodestar that elves are sort of snobbish about that sort of thing (and other times during the other books). Like, the best genes go to the first born child, and then they get dampened with each other kid. I just find it hard to believe that a family with five kids would be one of the more famous families, especially if the oldest went to Exillium for a time.
Which is another issue in itself. I would like her to explain how these "technical difficulties" were difficult enough for the council to let her back into Foxfire. Because going off the books, the council doesn't really do things based off of "technical difficulties".

Hehe. Looks like I should hope for Lodestar to come sooner then. Maybe I should leave the character approving to you and Amelia until I've read Lodestar. : )
I can see where you're coming from. Like how can a family, who had a family member in Exillium, be more popular than the Vackers?

Do I hear an under tone? I think I hear an under tone. XD I know, Fitz and Biana were in Exillium for a while, and for that and Alvar joining the Neverseen the Vackers are a lot less popular, but five kids and the oldest in Exillium for a while wouldn't really be logical in their world.
What? An under tone? Me? No, you're quite mistaken. ; ) Okay, okay, so it is.
It really wouldn't be logical at all. What should we do?

Welll...... I actually didn't but think I'd get this far so maybe we could just ask her to explain the "technical difficulties" and change the history a little?
Okie dokie.
*sighs in ultra exhaustion/relief because I'm the biggest wimp ever and actually saying something about this about killed me*

I know but if you asked Nobody you would get the behind the scenes of every time I ever had an even slightly different opinion from someone else. And uh... let's just say that those times altogether are what makes me a wimp. :| XD
Multiple things. But I'm a pansy and I have a really hard time confronting people online or not so uh, it usually goes like this;
Person: *does something that tests the rules*
Me: Eh.... Okie I'll let it slide this time...
Person: *keeps pushing the rules*
Me: It's not that bad...
Person: *keeps doing it*
Other people: *starts doing it too*
Me: *sobs* I can't handle all of this responsibility! *whines to Nobody about it cause she's better at dealing with people than I am*
Her: Just tell them.
Me: I CAN'T HALP
Her: Just. Tell. Them.
Me: *cries* Fine I will.... *does it*
*everything turns out fine but I will never learn because I'm a baby*

I really don't like being in that position so I understand. There have been a few times where I'm not sure if I should kick a member out from the group or not. It's an easy process but sometimes you wonder if they'll retaliate later. : (
I know! And my main issue is, it's usually the same girl (my friend no less) that causes all of the offences in a bunch of groups all at the same time so I'm trying to gently reprimand her but she's like a million years younger than me (okay two but still) and I don't want her to feel like I'm being all high and mighty and 'I'm older so I know better' cause most of the time I'm just wishing I was seven again.
That has to stink! Especially if she's your friend-that-is-two-years younger-than-you. I really don't like it that some people think that just because we're older means we're always going to play the high-and-mighty card.
Hehe. Only in our imagination. ; )
