I made the mistake of reading a few reviews of Torment from friends and am a little hesitant now. I'll do it if you really want to, but if you are on the fence at all, perhaps we can find something else to read together.

Ch 5 - (view spoiler)[ This is the weirdest school. I'm still trying to figure out what the heck is going on. (hide spoiler)]
Ch 11 - (view spoiler)[ I'm still so confused. I think there is something to the reference of Lucifer and her name being Lucinda, but I can't quite reconcile her innocent behavior with what we know about Lucifer's story. Could Daniel have been the one to break from God and fall because of his love for an angel named Lucinda - he's cursed to continuously fall in love with her and she's cursed not to remember anything? IDK, I'm still working on my theories here. LOL. (hide spoiler)]
Ch 16 - (view spoiler)[ What is waking up insider her? Angel powers???? Maybe she is the angel of destruction. (hide spoiler)]
Finished - (view spoiler)[ Ok, I'm so freaking confused, but hooked all the same. I was following along when Cam tried to tempt her, etc. But, I felt like the librarian trying to kill her came out of left field there at the end. I still don't understand why Luce is so important to the fate of the world and what, if anything, she has to do with Lucifer (I'm just not ready to give up a connection there). I also don't understand why Daniel and Luce would be cursed to feel so much love for one another throughout time, but never be able to enjoy it. That just doesn't seem like a punishment that a forgiving God would dole out. (hide spoiler)]
I'm down for the next book when you are ready.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
