I understnad the allure of being liked, and the draw from the mysterious guy, but come on! You have no idea if these people brutally beat up someone else, set fires to homes, ect. Not somewhere I'd want to look for a boyfriend! Something is going on with Pen. She can't be that good. The other two girls seem pretty 'normal' as far as it all goes, being in an asylum. Yeah the first half was pretty slow once you get to Ch. 11 things start to happen and it picks up a bit.

At this point I'm not sure because everything Luce does is annoying me. I still want answers about what is going on, but I just hate Luce. The other characters besides Daniel are all interesting.

There were so many players in the game that were pretty much dormant throughout the story. I guess I will continue reading to really see what it's all about. But anyway, I loved this story too, Arriane and Tess's story was so heartbreaking. There was so much emotional and this relationship felt more real than Luce and Daniel. Starting Fallen now:

Lucinda Price, aka Luce, the main character, is sent to a new "school." Sword and Cross is a reform school in Savannah, Georgia. Now upon entering this new place she meets Gabbe, Todd, and Cam. I don't really like Gabbe or Todd and I have a feeling they don't really like Luce. Now Cam seems to be a different story..maybe they will be love interests?!?

Then we meet Arriane and I love her. I'm glad that Luce and her are friends. It's kind of like Mean Girls when Cady is the new girl at a school and she becomes fast friends with Janis and Damian. So I hope their friendship will be just like that..but you know without it falling apart and then reconnecting again.

Speaking of their friendship I can't believe Arriane let Luce cut her hair. I don't think I would let anyone who wasn't a professional hair cutter cut my hair. I'd be scare that they would mess it up. Another friend of hers I like would be Penn because she helps Luce out after Molly's meatloaf of terror.

I'm really happy that she has some friends at this new place. But of course with a new school comes people that don't like you.
Speaking of people I don't like and/or don't like Luce, Molly is someone I really don't like. Ugh, I'd be okay if something terrible happened to her. Then there's Gabbe and Todd (I mentioned them earlier) who I don't like at all either.

OH, and now there's a love triangle sort of because there's another guy giving her attention, Daniel. Oh lord. I don't really know who I'd want her to be with because it's so early into the book. I just hope she doesn't "accidentally" kill any of them. But you know he saved her from a statue falling on her..so that's something.

Side Note: this school seems really weird.

I have no idea how I'm supposed to feel about Daniel either. He is very hot/cold with her all the time and it's hard to keep up with his feelings and emotions over everything.

Cam seems sweet yet kind of creepy at the same time. It could just be me feeling this way though. I still have no idea who I'm going to ship Luce with. Other than that, her friendships with Penn and Arriane are still going strong. I like that she finally called her friend back at home too (I can't remember her name right now).

I'm also really confused by her friendship with Arriane, like why was she acting so weird on Parent's Day to Luce? Also Parent's Day was like really sad. It's usually a happy day to see family members you haven't seen in forever but nope that didn't happen in the book.
