I understand Daniel isn't her master, but I feel she should at least attempt to stay safe and be aware of her surroundings. I would be doubting my relationship with Daniel as well once hearing she wasn't the only one he has been with. Especially Shelby-that's Luce's roommate. I feel bad that Luce can only be with Daniel and no one else and she doesn't even know the past they share. Daniel just needs to explain and tell her everything that they've been through. Yeah, I can't help but feel like she was kind of forced into the whole Daniel thing, because she basically did the same thing with Cam in the last book. And the way they describe Miles makes me like him even more than Daniel. Daniel is so dodgy and annoying lol

Finished… (view spoiler)[ I am glad that Daniel and his crew won this battle and although Cam and Miss Sophia got away it feels like there is a reason for that. I like that Epilogue, Luce is safe, somewhere, Cam and Daniel have come to some sort of truce that will last eighteen days where they will have to work together for a war that is coming. I loved that Gabbe and Arriane are also angels it is so cute. (hide spoiler)]

The Valentine of Shelby and Miles (view spoiler)[ I found this short story interesting. Shelby and Miles attached quite quickly and found that odd, but at least they were helping to try and find Luce her Daniel. I hope the other short stories are better (hide spoiler)]

The Valentine of Roland (view spoiler)[ I enjoyed this story much more! It was based on Roland and he's now back in the past and thinking about rekindling his relationship from 5 years ago. He left her alone 5 years back and then thinks he can have another chance with her. Roland then realizes that she has her own life now and a husband along with 2 kids (one on the way). Roland didn't really get his happy ending because instead he just took her husband's place in the war so he didn't have to go. This was sweet of him and so far I like Roland's story the best. The Valentine of Arriane (view spoiler)[ Wow this one was even more heartbreaking than the last. Arriane is in love with Tess who happens to be a demon. They are not supposed to be together, but still, manage to make it work until Tess tries to get Arriane to go to Lucifer with her. Arriane refuses and Tess tries to kill herself. It's sad because Arriane saves her, but can't do anything to help her. This one was filled with more emotion than the others. (hide spoiler)]

The Valentine of Daniel and Lucinda (view spoiler)[ I'm actually happy that I'm going to be done with this love story soon. You can only take so much of Daniel and Lucinda to be honest. This book is super slow for me. I feel like some of the events are overly emphasized, like in chapter one. The experience with Arriane on the bleachers just seems a bit drawn out.

started reading it on friday and finished today, but my internet was down the last 2 days, so i have to post my updates all at once :( but great because that gave me an opportunity to continue with my books :)

Fallen, Chapter Prolog, 1-5: (view spoiler)[An artist, a painting, a kiss and fire! .... Luce gets send to Sword & Cross academy, a school for... difficult teens. We meet Cam(Mr. heartbreaker), Molly(bully), Roland(cool guy) Arianne(love her :) ), Penny(oh... :) ) and Daniel... flipping her off. Luce's first day at "school" are "okay" till she gets detention and has to clean the cementary. Daniel saves her from a falling angel statue but then again he seems to not like her and still she feels that there's something strange about him... Wednesday is movie night and after-movie-party ;)

i'm rereading this series for the at least 3d time and i have to admit that the 1st one is a bit slow, but it gets better and the following books are getting better :)

Mostly kind of slow, I finally want to know what those shadows are all about and what is happening with Luce. I feel like this whole book is one big mystery and only at the very ending do we get to know what was actually happening.. Haha hopefully it will get more exciting now, so that I'll be motivated enough to continue with the second book.

This book has been a bit slow for me and I've also been extremely busy the past few days. For the most part, I do like the book, but I don't know how to feel all this drama being thrown into the first 48 hours Luce is at the school. Obviously other students know more than Luce because most have been there longer, but it seems almost like they have been expecting her. Ready to see what happens next, definitely.

Plus, I still don't know the whole picture of this angel world where apparently all of the angels are fallen ones. And then some are good and some are bad and why is Luce actually so important? Haha to me it's all just one confusinf thing where I only know half the story. Even after reading the first book.
