The Massive Tome Challenge

I was amazed to see the words "massive tome challenge" since I'd started thinking about how many "massive tomes" I'd already read this year (Don Quixote, Crime and Punishment, Europe Central), and the titles of more of these I'd be tackling next year (Moby Dick, for one). I just joined this fun challenge on the spur of the moment because I needed motivation to get through the current tome, Infinite Jest.(I'm on page 181 of over 900 pages.) I will race to finish it by Dec. 31.

Linda - Lol yeah it is for all of us who want to read massive tomes and are putting it off. I just finished reading Crime and Punishment.

All the best for Infinite Jest. Hope you are enjoying it. I had also planned to read it this year but real life got in the way and had to postpone reading it to the next one.

This year I am already halfway through one and will finish another by Jan end.. so I am hoping to get more done by way of massive tomes this year :)

Thanks Manju. Started with Parva which is round 950 pages and Whitney, My Love which is 700 pages.

I know Sri and sorry for that as Sumit said let bygones be bygones ;) Let us start new challenges and BRs and this time i won't leave halfway.. :)
