I like the fact that Austen opens with sort of an explanation of who the family and each person.Then she launches into the story and as mentioned before it is like the reader has been invited for tea and she is relaying what happened.

She has the mastery of style to keep us reading while she info-dumps, because she's interesting to listen to.
