Phoebe Garnsworthy | 2 comments Hi Everyone!

So I have a question, does anyone know or follow any great magical realism or visionary fictional book blogs or websites ? Everything seems to be so outdated on the web?

I'm about to release my magical realism novel, Lost Nowhere, and I am having difficulty finding any magical realism reviewers... and of course, if anyone here is interested in reading it, please let me know and i will send you an advanced reading ebook! :)

Thank you, Phoebe

The review policy is different for self-published books and mainstream books. Check out the policy page. Basically self published MR authors should join the Magic Realism Books Facebook Group https://www.facebook.com/groups/magic... as I advertise when spots are available on there.

Niela (visnucky) | 12 comments Who can remind me of the title of the novel written about Gurdjieff's ideas?
Is there one besides Ivan Osokin by Ouspensky?
I am vaguely recalling that it is about a man who gets a second chance to relive his life but keeps making the same mistakes because he is not yet .

Leann (7leann) There are some novels listed here. Maybe it will help.

Leonora Meriel Hello, I'm new to the group and just finding my way around. I am a writer and my first novel "The Woman Behind the Waterfall" is magical realism. There is an excellent blog that I was featured on - partly surrealist art, partly magical realism. Here is the link: https://examiningtheodd.com

Frank Mottl (wwwfrankwaynenet) | 5 comments Hi all . . . Magic Realism works best in theater, but has a long tradition in literature, too. I've written two books that have a strong element of 'magic realism': 'The Cumberland Tales' and 'Mother's Keep'. Both are 'combo' books of prose and poetry with a poem preceding each chapter. For me, the magic realist element must be juxtaposed against everyday normal life. The turn from everyday life to magic realism to what gives the element its power.

Lala Corriere (lalacorriere) | 1 comments Wow. Is this group dead? Abandoned? I just released my novella to be in a trilogy. It's taking me a while and yes, I will be writing that third one, but I'm wondering where my peops are here!

Frank Mottl (wwwfrankwaynenet) | 5 comments Hi Phoebe, I've also written a couple of novels both with magic realism. We can trade books if you want? Frank
