I need you all to pray as my brother in-law as some of you may know has cancer. we left for Vietnam and he has now been placed in hospital and they think he has just a few days and we are so far away. My poor sister has cared for him and they keep calling in the priest. He has 3 children. They have been in hospital with him. My sister said it’s not long now. And I feel so sad. It’s such a bitch. I’m not sure whether to fly home. My kids are at home. They are keeping me updated. But it so sad. My other sister said there’s nothing you can do here. Just come back and try and enjoy.

My sister is sleeping at the hospital and she sent me a message saying the priest said he hasn’t got long. Their youngest was sent home from school to say his goodbyes. My sister said his kidney are failing and there water leaking out of his legs and he will be at peace soon. And it’s so damn unfair. I’ve had this damn cough and before I left, I called so visit. But as he’s so unwell my sister said wait till you come back. My hubby went and said he’s no too good. Then I had my dad calling me crying. And my heart is hurting. My girls keep calling me unsure what to do!

I’m away, we go home tomorrow. They said don’t come home. There’s nothing you can do. But my poor sister. She’s heartbroken. So young. Such a waste of a beautiful person.

I saw you post this on Facebook, Melinda, and meant to say something there. I'm so out of touch lately that those things slip right by me. I am so sorry for your loss and theirs. I can just see how deeply he was loved Every tear we cry, every twisting of our heart when we think of them - those are beautiful tributes to our loved ones. Warm heart hugs to all of you.

Oh thank you so much...just gotta make it through the work day and then on to a weekend of celebration, which to me is quiet time sitting my happy arse on the couch, watching a little college football, a little NASCAR, reading, napping, and...hopefully...cake!!!! There had better be cake!
