Ela | 4291 comments Um...odd ball here...BUT my nephew got married last year....and another one next year. Yup I'm the youngin' of my siblings, like my sister still treats me like her kid.

message 1905: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) Well, I'm the oldest of the siblings (loved it growing up, but now, not so much), and my baby brother (who's 8 years younger than me) became a grandpa yesterday. Talk about making me feel ancient!

Wowza! You're just a baby Ela...

message 1909: by Michele (new)

Michele (guilliem) | 2131 comments I'm an only kiddo...so yep. It kind of sucks quite frankly. I always wanted siblings....that's why I had three kids. Didn't want them to be flying solo.

message 1910: by Michele (new)

Michele (guilliem) | 2131 comments That's just my take on being an only child...lots of only kiddos love it. I just didn't...and now that my parents are aging...I really don't.

message 1911: by Melinda (new)

Melinda Ruyten | 1027 comments I had 2 graduate university last year a double whammy and started working this year. Then my youngest graduated high school and it was all at Xmas time. So it was soo busy. But exciting at the same time. 👩‍🎓

Nay I’m the eldest too with an 8 year age gap to the youngest. But there is 3 in between. My mum was crazy had 4 children in 4 years then another 31/2 years later.

message 1912: by JudyCa (new)

JudyCa | 1709 comments Congrats to all your graduates! It's exciting to see them start a new chapter...I have one more year before Kalyn starts hs...I'm the youngest of 3, 8 yrs younger than my sister with a brother in between...my brother doesn't have kids and neither does my SIL, so our immediate fam is small...btw, I haven't been to a wedding in YEARS! lol...

Tessa | 1761 comments Congrats to all the grads! How fun yet bittersweet. :)

I'm with you, Ela. Youngest, except I'm from a huge "Yours, Mine and Ours" family. My dad, 8 kids, my mom, 3, both of them, me. :D
My sister-in-law was pregnant when my mom was pregnant with me so I was an aunt at 5 months of age.

message 1942: by Nay (last edited Jul 10, 2019 04:04PM) (new)

Nay (4ukcats) N.N. Britt, the author I'm editing for right now, lives right outside of L.A. and it scared the crap out of her. And speaking of her, this book she's written is AWESOME! Y'all have to read it. Ohhh the angst! I was crying so much when I was editing that I couldn't even see the screen! If any of you read Rapture, it's same author.

Severance by N.N. Britt Severance

And now I'm free for a day or two and I don't know what to read first!

I've got my paws on Severance and love it already! Five chapters in and I had to force myself to put it down and go to work! Damn job! Being responsible sucks ;-)
