I don't come into this misc, chit chat thread often because I don't have time! Oh, if only I didn't have to work, lol! But I just have to tell/vent to someone that I have books coming at me left and right right now! It's kinda funny. I have 6 library books that came available (4 today alone), and 14(!!!!) tabs open of Kindle Unlimited books that I want to read! It honestly makes it hard to decide what to read next! I don't even want to look at Mondays early releases because I don't want to add anymore! Only fellow book lovers get this rant.

Right now I'm beta reading 2 books, reading an ARC that was released a week ago (because I'm so behind), I have 3 library books about to expire, a friend's book on my kindle, and today I found out my critique partner is struggling. Oh anddddd I'm trying to finish writing a book. 😂😂😂 I started listing out all the things I need to do for that (in addition to writing): blurb, go though beta notes, make teasers, hire a proofreader, schedule with my formatter... so what am I doing right now? Cognac. It's what's for dinner. 😐

Actually, it is funny. If I learned anything last year is that none of this matters. Library books can be checked out again and readers, god bless them, will wait. Writing a blurb? No. That is not funny one bit and I'd rather swim with sharks in Lady Gaga's meat dress than do that...

Stephanie, your post cracked me up! I literally, no kidding, had 7 books hit my library account today...7! How does that happen in just one day?! I keep my KU loaded to the brim...of course I read them 1 every 2 weeks...I'm ridiculous. I have a NetGalley account full of books to read. Yet I continue to look at the Monday releases...so I apparently am a total idiot who wants for my TBR to one day reach 10,000. Just wanted to help you feel better...

Being the second book in a duet, I'm not too worried about attracting readers with it. I figure that decision will be made based on the first book, but I don't want something stupid on my cover. Emma helped me with my first one and I think it stretched the boundaries of our friendship. 😂😂😂
