As bloody Latam Airlines wouldn’t fast track the exchange of the ticket.
But we are now on the plane. Waiting for take off.
I will check when we arrive Robin.
I should be able to claim through credit card though.

Don't worry about the ARC! Just enjoy your vacay and whenever you want to read I'll help you get it. She's in no hurry, just grateful for the interest.

I hope everyone else is experiencing the same giddiness I am...

I'd have to second that. I've been really lucky too!

I just stalked your read shelf! I love that you loved Too Good Girl!!

I've had an awesome year too! I read 5 books in January that will definitely be on my Top Reads of 2019 list. It makes me so happy!!

No giving up! Hang in there, even if it's just by a glittery thread!

January was good for me, but February even though it just started not so much-I have not finished one book I have started and I have started 3 and I am so not the reader that can have multiple books going at one time but they are just not holding my attention as I have too much side stuff going on...it happens so I just say f*ck it and move on. Not always easy I know. You'll get it back as will I :-)
hang in there girl!
Ela, just do one....or none. Dont push yourself into a slump. I am just doing the pick for me, but honestly got anxiety last time i posted on that thread. Heart in throat and racing. I think more to do with other things, but not sure i will keep up with it at the moment.

See, this is how I feel. There are way too many books to read to be wasting my life away at work. Not to mention chatting with the ladies of the WolfPack thread :-)

I'm only doing the pick for me (that doesn't stress me out) and the levels one (cause its a yearly one). Romanceopoly, favorites, and BOOM all stress me out.

For everyone who's a 'C' lover...I just finished The Letters and A Different Kind Of December: A Carnage Short Story they were both great! And there's a new one coming out this year about Paige, Len and Jimmie's daughter 😁

Same! I like the favorites because I'm just picking books I wanted to read anyway. :P And if I'm late, I'm known for my mood reading. :D
Ela, if you look last year, I didn't get most of my books done, or at least on time. If you can't read it, you can't. That's okay. *hugs*

Lol...I know, I thought about that after but then had a chuckle so I left it 😵❤️😂

I'm only doing PFM...any more commitment than that makes me sweat 😂 the more of everyone's favorites I see the more I want...there are way too many now that I haven't got time for...

For you Kellan lovers...#4! 😁❤️"
Funny, I have read all of those!

Ela--I'm doing favorites.
Jenn, Michelle, and maybe Judy, and I are BRing Midnight Valentine for it if you want to join in. We need to set a date. I'm going to that thread right now to try to pin something down so that we don't let it pass us by.

Good to know! A few are new to me, a few I have no interest in and a few sound very familiar as if I've read them year(s) ago... Now I'm adding In Flight to my list, whoop!

Dear Bridget, I Want You

I've been duped a few times when authors do this.

Bad Mommy

I've been changing A LOT of covers (and some titles, and even some series names) for authors on GR. I think when their sales are stagnant, they want to try something different, which is really pretty smart. Especially for Dear Bridget, I Want You--what an improvement from the first cover!

P.S. new covers/same title is not as bad, but still kind of bother me. I'm just a big crabby grouch. 🦀

I agree with everything you said. I think there should be a sentence about the change at the top of the blurb of the new edition in bold. It’s not good for readers to feel duped, even though I’m sure that’s not the intention; however, before social media got popular, I can remember a few authors making changes and not making it clear to the reader at all. People would buy the book and realize they’d already read it and we’d have to go on a hunting expedition to find some tiny print somewhere that it was a reprint. Nowadays, they’re liable to have an angry online mob come after them for not disclosing it.

OMG, I hated when that happened when I was buying a paperback. You spend 7.99 on a new book only to realize, hey, I've read this! I had to return so many books as a result of the new covers.

Tell her to put in BIG LETTERS it's a re-release of an old book. Her fans will not be happy if she doesn't.

This is the gist of it:
I'm currently working on another story for the series after being asked numerous times to focus on Billy during the time he and Kate were apart, and then pick up with another storyline where they reconnect. I wasn't sure there was more to tell, but I think I've got it.
Readers have asked for more Billy, so that's what I'm doing. Wait until you see the cover! I'm dying!! We FOUND Billy in all his glory. :-D
I hope you'll check it out when the story publishes later this year or early next.
Karen is a member of this group. Maybe she'll keep us posted??? And I can't wait to see Billy "in all his glory"!!
