Melinda Ruyten | 1027 comments I’m on the cusp Taurus and Gemini. So yeh.

message 1053: by [deleted user] (new)

Lol!

Then I could visit Ela.

But she scares me.

message 1054: by Melinda (new)

Melinda Ruyten | 1027 comments ? Scares you? Not sure what you mean?

message 1055: by [deleted user] (new)

She likes dark dark things.

Have you read her want ad for a twin?

And im only joking with her....which she knows. Right, Ela?

In all honesty Ela would probably be really fun to live next to. I feel like if you were her friend you could just call her up and she would go on adventures with you.
Or you know just a cup of coffee and shopping.

message 1056: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Aiello (lisaaiello) | 2460 comments I totally want to live next door to Ela...maybe in the same house. She is the friend you could call to help you hide bodies, or she'd yell at people who pissed you off or were mean to you, or you could get totally drunk with her and you could tell her absolutely EVERYTHING about yourself, even the bad stuff, and she wouldn't care...unless you mentioned that Fucktard TONY!!!

message 1057: by Melinda (new)

Melinda Ruyten | 1027 comments Come visit me. LA, New Orleans or Australia Melbourne.

message 1058: by Melinda (new)

Melinda Ruyten | 1027 comments Who is Fucktard Tony? Ela. Would def hide bodies. I think in her other life she's actually a sex therapist which is kind of cool. As she reads all those Sex Books and tells me she's learning things. I'm sure on her bucket list is to have Sex in a plane. Or maybe she's an exhibitionist. Haha. All jokes aside. I'm Sure she would drink me under the table and she wouldn't be scared of some freaking big kangaroo that jumps out at you in the middle of the night that was bigger than my 4wd she'd yell at it to f**k off and it would. 😘Ela,.

message 1059: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Aiello (lisaaiello) | 2460 comments Tony from Aleatha Romig's Consequences series. Just his name causes her to break out the CAPS LOCK!!!

Renee is my twinsie! Charley was a really dumb cunt whore, if she only chosen differently I might have forgiven her...

It wouldn't be my first choice, I would just be interested to see how the author would work that? It might work in MM though....

Apparently Robin and I are 50/50 just like with you Grey....

Robin is dealing with some personal issues...so let's support her with hugs, chocolate, and lots of alcohol.

This event wasnt too far from me:

I am totally not offended! Just to be clear, I like to read dark books but I HATE HORROR MOVIES AND HORROR BOOKS AND ANYTHING HORROR OR BLOODY RELATED...IT CREEPS ME OUT AND I GET NIGHTMARES! Technically I'm totally a cuddly lovable person who keeps others secrets!

As far as the twin thing...... um.....Ela, I fit your ad. Love dark, crazy, twisty, reads. But I also feel like Grey, Melinda and Lisa could be my twins too!!!

Ela, Charley pissed you off in the last book? That scares me..... need to catchup on that series. And as much as I know of your hate for the"C" series, i still kinda want to read it tos ee what all the talk is about.

Judy--I read the first one and started the second one. I thought they might be good for some quick taboo smut, and I mainly wanted to read the 3rd one because K. Webster! I'll probably get back to the after I finish Sleeping with Monsters. Looks like you didn't love them??

I haven't read anything since Thursday because hubs decided to take off yesterday and Monday for my birthday weekend. We went antiquing all day yesterday, and then we went to watch our Predators in the 2nd round of the Stanley Cup playoffs last night. It was a wonderful day (even though the Preds got beat! 😭).

message 1083: by Melinda (new)

Melinda Ruyten | 1027 comments Ela, I looked it up online when Lisa mentioned the book. Next read. Can’t wait.
But he doesn’t make anyone eat babies, does he? I Don’t think I could read it if that happened.

That sounds lovely Nay. Great start to your birthday.

First, Happy Birthday!! :) Hope you have a great bday weekend!
They weren't bad, actually they were pretty good, but the daddy kink isn't really my thing. As for writing styles, book 3 and 4 were probably the ones I liked the most. Those were more like 3.5+*. This is where i have trouble rating books. However, there is another series coming called Four Sons and I will certainly read those! I won't spoil anything for you but those I'm assuming will be about Eric's sons....
And lastly, I like the Preds too - but I have to cheer for Winnipeg, they're the last Canadian team in the playoffs. If the Predators prevail, I'll join you in cheering for them :)

Sorry, Judy--I just now saw your post from the other day.

I'm looking forward to the four sons books, so I guess I'll have to read the others. But I'm telling you right now--if the dialogue is cheesy (anything like 'give it to me, daddy'), I'm out. Young women can date/fornicate with older men without it sounding like bad porno!

And yeah, I get why you have to pull for the Jets. Tonight's game might kill me!

message 1090: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Aiello (lisaaiello) | 2460 comments I think I'm interested in reading the Four Fathers: Wheeler one - I haven't read much about the other ones, but that just sounded dark and depraved and all that other fun stuff I like!!!

message 1091: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) Lisa--the first one was a really quick read. I think it only took me a couple of hours, and each of the 'fathers' is mentioned in each book because they're all friends (maybe enemies too--I can't remember for sure! lol) Judy is the authority since she's read them all. But I'm most interested in #3 and #4 because K. Webster and Ker Dukey. Yeah, like you said--dark and depraved. Like the pretty little dolly! lol Speaking of...you, Ela and I (and maybe Jean?) still need to BR the last two books of that series!
