(view spoiler)[Ok, I am all over the place with my feelings about this book right now. I never thought when I first started reading it that Evelyn would have turned out to be bisexual and I love that part of the story. In fact I actually loved HER whole entire story. What pissed me off is how author had to put in that tidbit of how Monique was going to hate Evelyn. That made it so glaringly obvious that there was going to be something with her father's death that it totally ruined the story for me. If there's one thing that I hate in a book it is a stupid twist or a glaringly obvious twist. If the author would have just left that out it, it would have been shocking and awesome when it was revealed. I also predicted Evelyn was going to kill herself and I was ok with that part but I was actually expecting her to ask Monique to help her. So now I am giving the book the stink eye and yelling "thats it???" at it. Ok, rant over. Curious what anyone elses thoughts are (hide spoiler)]

I did expect her to off herself before ever opening the book--just because I know TJR wouldn't leave a loose end like that. But I didn't expect her to ask for help. I am bummed because it could have been an awesome story...but since I suspected Evelyn was going to kill herself AND knew she had something to do with father...it ruined it. I am probably only one in face of earth that had this issue, but needed to vent. By the way, it did seem totally real. I just wish they never included parts with boss asking Monique about her dads work, that Monique would hate Evelyn, Monique's assisted suicide article, and Evelyn being so fishy about her demise when Monique questioned her. All that gave too much away.

I've read it Leslie, it's a lot different to the rest of her books. I didn't like it nearly as much as her other books. And you could guess what was goIng to happen and I would rather be surprised and by the end of the book I was hating Evelyn. I found that it seemed more like a story than let you believe it was reality.

I like that chapter in there, just not at the beginning. I think it needs to go in order of the plot!

I'd say maybe she should warn readers, but I tried doing that and nobody even notices. I think it's because so many people go in blind these days.
