It seems very general. I know Marvel collections are not considered series.

There is not an exactly equivalent series in English; at least not one that I know of. In the second series there are 47 books in total, the collected Disney works of Carl Barks. The first series includes the first 16 books of these books (different edition). The problem for me seems to be that when the two editions were combined there was a mix-up.

See https://www.goodreads.com/help/show/2...
But I'm not sure in this case. The books do have a universe/characters in common (Duck family). Second opinions welcome.

But I'm not sure ..."
I had the same impression as you, that this was more imprint than series. Maybe Rivka can weigh in?
That they have common characters is true. But what I'm not understanding is what makes them distinct from each other (the 2 series), or from the many other series that feature these characters?

The distinction from other series with the same characters is that these collect the complete works of a single creator.
What makes them a series, in my opinion, is the fact that they have been published under the same title -with different subtitles of course- as book #1, #2 etc. They have been published as a series. The first 16 books by one publisher and afterwards another publisher released another edition of these 16 books and also completed the whole series. Having said that, I thought that it's reasonable to be catalogued as a series here as well and if anyone finds one book won't have to wonder where are the rest.
However, you know better the Goodreads rules and regulations, so you can decide accordingly. Please, either fix the series as described in my first message or dismantle both of them.
Thanks for your time.

That implies that they would be a single series on Goodreads.
Published as a series by a single publisher, and then a different series by another publisher -- on Goodreads, that is usually an imprint, not a series.
It does seem like perhaps they should all be one series, if there don't exist other-language equivalents for which a series already exists.

I also found this: https://www.goodreads.com/series/7303...

The content is the same (collected work of Carl Barks) so I think their Greek counterpart is a series after all.
Regarding this: "It does seem like perhaps they should all be one series"
They are two different series. The first 16 books of the second series are a different edition of the 16 books of the first series and are already registered like that (check here: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...). What is wrong is that for some of these books the info (cover and data) is mixed up between editions.

There should be also added the two following books:

In both books there should be added the following details:

published by: Η Καθημερινή
I would also like to add descriptions in those books, should I write them here?
