I may not come from America but I strongly agree that the culture of violence needs to be subdued. It doesn't help at all. I believe we can attain a better state. Afterall, we came from worse eras before and we recovered from that.
Since everyone is different and in turn has different beliefs, values, and experiences. We can make the world a better place with the little things that we do. We all have a force in us to do so and if we just welcome it, we might even change the world we live in. Such as your blog/essay. :)
I am getting real sick of the culture of violence in the world. Look at all of the carnage we have lived through in our lifetime: race riots, assassinations of beloved leaders, serial killings, gang and cartel murders, too many wars, and too much terrorism at home and abroad.
