From where the distance of his home and the castle prince Elvin and his father were heading to. It was a little bit more than a hundred miles which would take anyone two hours, but at their speed they were going they were going to make it in only an hour. Elvin was okay with all of this and hoped Jezbel would not ignore him.

"At the rate their going to get here, I might fall asleep already."She told her father with a fake yawn sitting, on the steps to the door just a few feet behind her. That was before she started to hear the sounds of horses, entering through the gates and seeing a carriage, shortly after coming into view. "Maybe I was wrong after all."Jezbel muttered.

Elvin sighed as he could hear the carriage pull through the gates. He glanced up at his father, Lets hope this won't take long. The prince thought to himself, taking a step out of the carriage. The castle looked so grand from where stood. Well, he was just a kid after all. To him everything was big.

Jezbel stood up right when she heard the carriage pull in pulling herself together, more in regards, of acting like a young little lady. As her father would have put it. She watched a little curiously when she stood near the door with her father watching as the young prince came out of the carriage. "So he is a elf after all. I guess that means he never saw a demon in human form."Jezbel muttered as she glanced down at her book. "This shall be interesting."She giggled to herself quietly.

Elvin gave a small smile as he stared up at the castle. It was amazing. "Elvin, I will be in the study with the other king. I was informed that princess Jezbel is in the throne room. Why don't you go and meet her." His father urged for him to head on. The prince nodded and followed one of the servants to the throne room. His eyes glanced around as he walked in silence until the finally reached the grand doors of the throne room.

Jezbel sat on the floor near her father's chair, in the throne room reading a book until she heard footsteps; approaching and slowly closed, the book before putting it down beside her. That was before she got up and started walking, towards the doors upon him entering. "You must be Prince Elvin?"She asked softly before curtsying and giving a slight smile."I'm Princess Jezbel. A pleasure to make your acquaintance. I am sorry you caught me like this. I was just reading, and wasn't expecting for anyone to come."Belle stated with a nervous laugh.

Elvin stood in the doorway as he stared at princess Jezebel. He almost stepped back when she curtsied. He opened his mouth slightly to respond. He bowed and smiled back. "Yes, I am prince Elvin. It is nice to meet you Princess Jezebel." He strained back up and glanced behind her. "No need to apologize. I really did not want to be here truthfully." He confessed while putting his attention back on the princess..

Jezbel grinned in delight yet surprise, as she didn't know about elves but thought best to not ask. "The pleasure is all mine, Prince Elvin."She curtsied once more. She laughed softly, before saying, "Oh you truly didn't? You could the same for me. But alas, we're here and we both have to deal with it. Why don't I take you to the gardens outside? You might enjoy the beauty of it. I always do."Jezbel gave a cute smile.

Elvin's eyes lit up slightly when Jezebel mentioned a garden. As a fair, he loved anything related to nature. He would probably be out there for hours, flying around and admiring. He nodded, "I would love to." He accepted her invitation to the gardens as he did not smile since he did not need to smile at the moment. He sighed and waited for her to lead the way. If his dad ever saw the garden him and princess Jezebel were heading too, he would probably have the same reaction and stay in the garden for ever.

Jezbel saw how his eyes light up, and sparkled with joy. He didn't have to say anything else for him to show his happiness or childlike joy. His actions; rather physical expression said it all. Taking his hand within her own, she opened the doors from the throne room heading down the hall."You want to race there? Last one is a rotten egg!"She called out with a giggle, before picking her skirts up and started running to the gardens.

Elvin watched her head off first. The first thing that he wanted to do was to fly and beat her since flying was not his weaker spot. Running was. He really wanted to so badly that without hesitation he opened his wings and flew after her. At this point he did not care if she saw his wings. He did not care to what his father asked him to do before they left, he just wanted to see the garden.

((Awesome! Sorry for my inconvenience as well, I just got back with some personal issues at hand; alongside juggling some other things. But I might be coming, back every few days or weekends if/at best.))

Jezbel took one glance at him... to see where was, because she really wanted to show him the gardens. It was a beautiful sight. With her always reading, the gardens always made a perfect spot to read, and just enjoy the scenery around her. But when she heard a flapping noise she didn't know where it came from, until she realized it came from the young prince Elvin himself. "Hey now, that's not fair! You're cheating prince!"She called out before she turned into demon form, taking her wings out. If he was gonna cheat so was she as well.

Prince Elvin rolled his eyes and watched princess Jezebel transform. "I am not cheating." He called out to her as he flew after her. He was not necessarily cheating, he was more excited to see the garden. He loved gardens since he was nature fairy after all. Just as he made it to the garden, he flew to some flowers that he had never seen before. This was too good to be true.

"Fine if you say so."She stated with a mere sigh and a roll of the eyes as well, before she was able to; catch up to him in the gardens. It was once she descended, she let her wings go away as soon as they came...before slowly walking over to him; briefly touching the plants, she passed with the tips of her fingers. "Pretty, aren't they?"Jezebel spoke softly. "My father had them planted, way before I was born...so I was told. There from some exotic land. I don't know where exactly, but it's quite enticing with the bright pinks, white, almost as if it's drawing you in by the scent."

Elvin touched the flowers, inspected them only to make mental notes. He heard what the princess said, but somewhat ignored as he was fascinated with the flowers and plants. "So fascinating." He breathed in before flying over to some more. He was so pumped to be here; he darted back and forth as he almost forgot about Princess. This is what Jezebel got for suggesting to bring him here.

Jezebel watched him, so intrigued with the plants, and flowers that it reminded her of herself when she read books herself. So lost in the wonder and beauty for him, while for it was just the same but the words on the pages; were art or the images painted, on the pages too. However it was kind of a little bit rude that he nearly forgot he was there, as he was her guest afterall. At her castle - her home. But she was toying with the idea of it. It being, the nature and beauty of the gardens. "Prince Elvin, maybe we can play a game in the gardens. Hide and go Seek? You hide and  I find you. Might be fun?" Who was she kidding, he probably wasn' even paying attention at all.

Prince Elvin paused what he was doing and flew over to Jezebel. "Hide and seek?" He questioned as he folded his wings. He stood in front of her as hide and seek was not such a bad idea. "Sure. What are you going to count to?" He asked her as he kept his attention on her as he waited for an answer. At first, he thought that hide and seek wasn't going to be fun, but instead, he did not mind playing.

Glancing over to a rose...she held gently in her hands, she felt his prescience more than she saw him. "Have you never heard of that game before silly?"She giggled before meeting his eyes with her own. "I could count to twenty if you'd like?"Jezebel gave a slight smile this time.

Prince Elvin shook his head. "No, not really." He looked at her and then at the rose. "That could be nice." He spoke as he was thankful the princess would count that high. "So close your eyes then?" He questioned her as he knew there so many places in the garden he could hide.

With a blink of her eyes, she joked about it lightly thinking he must've of played, it but teased her. Not knowing in reality, he never played this game in his kingdom at all."Indeed it shall be, would you like the rose for yourself?"She asked softly before answering his last question. "Yep, just close my eyes while I count and you hide so when I hit zero I come and find you."Jezebel nodded with a small grin.

Prince Elvin nodded as he glanced at the rose. "Of course, but right now I want to leave it." He informed her as he waited for her turn around and start counting. "I am ready to go hide." He informed her.

"That's fine. A beautiful sight to behold after the game. It will be worth it's beauty."She giggled before turning around, facing away from. As she heard him moving away she started to count to twenty.

Prince Elvin turned and walked in the opposite direction of princesses. He smiled to himself as he knew exactly where to hide. A hiding place where Jezebel would not find him. Once out of earshot, he opened his wings and flew somewhere the princess would not look. He might not have played the game in his kingdom, but he sure knows how to hide. He loved the capability of camouflage.

"Ready or not here I come!"She called out when she finished counting to twenty. Turning around from her counting, she started looking underneath some flowerbeds, to behind trees, all sorts of places searching for him.

Prince Elvin made himself small and against some leaves. He loved being able to blend in. It was one of his strengths he liked about himself. He glanced down and watched the Princess search for him. It was fun watching her.

"Hmm...I wonder where Prince Elvin could be? He must be hiding here somewhere."She spoke softly with a giggle, as she kept searching through the plants. Almost sensing and feeling where he was by the touch of the plants. As she crawled over to a nearby bush she pushed some leaves away and smirked. "Found you!"

By the time the Princess pushed back the leaves, he was already gone. He was now hidden in the blades of grass, close to a log he could hide in. He continued to move in the opposite direction of where the princess was at the moment. He loved this game of hide and seek. It was so much fun.

Sighing dramatically, she kept searching almost rolling her eyes in the process. Not thinking he would keep moving further and further, but actually stay in place. Jezbel giggled almost a little darkly, "You know when I find you I will tackle you and then it will be you being seeked."She called out.

Prince Elvin stepped into the log and watched from the small hole on the side. Why didn't he play this game in his kingdom? He loved this. He planned on telling his father when they head home. He wanted to play this game so many times. Elvin watched her, laughed in his head at how frustrated yet how much the princess was enjoying this as well.

Jezbel continued to keep searching, for the young prince hoping to find him, and if she didn't she would cheat. Or rather she would like to not cheat. It wouldn't be proper. Not in her eyes or in the eyes of her father. But he did use it at times. "Hm... I wonder where the little young prince could be? I wonder where..."She called out with a giggle. Before she kept searching, using her sense of touch till she felt it and went down her knees; crawling towards where she think she found him. "Found you, Prince Elvin!"

Prince Elvin chuckled in his head as he watched Jezebel. He did not know why, but watching her search for him was so much fun. He needed to tell his father about maybe playing this game every so often. He hovered a bit and moved further into the log. He knew the princess would find him eventually. He thought for a moment as he was not even sure if he was playing this right. Was he allowed to change his hiding spot?

Sighing in defeat but almost in slight irritation, she let her demon form stay the way it was as she moved faster, and faster through the leg. "If you think you can hide for long you won't. Or until I really get unhappy and right now I'm not sure which one it is."Jezbel stated with a bit of anger boiling to the surface, as she ran through the log looking for him.

Prince Elvin was already out of the log. He watched her search frantically and angerly. He could tell the princess was not having fun anymore. He knew he would need to give up, which he was okay with doing. Just one more place and making sure the princess could find him easily. A lot of the hiding he was doing, was out of nature.

After searching upon searching she found him hiding in the gardens, by searching on her knees. He was quite well at hiding and she would give him that. "If I didn't know any better you have such a strength in hiding, Elvin. Come on, I want to show you the library. If I don't now, I won't be able to do it by lunch."Jezbel stated with a smile, feeling very proud of herself that she was able to find him now.

Prince Elvin sighed as he let the princess finally found him. He looked at her as he resized himself and folded his wings. "Sure. You can show me the library." He spoke as he waited for her to lead the way. He really did not mind libraries even though he loved gardens more. "Lead the way, Princess Jezebel." He added.

((After my reply, and yours, I was thinking we could do a time skip to either them eating lunch or maybe we could do is where their both in their early - late teens? Perhaps haven't seen each other in awhile, so things happen? Whatever that may be.))

"It might not be anything like here, but it's quite big rather and so many books. Maybe you'll find one that interests you."Jezbel said taking his hand, skipping with him to the library giggling softly, seeing he was sort of happy.

Prince Elvin followed the Princess reluctantly when she has taken his hand. He was not sure if he wanted to really check a book out. He watched Jezebel giggle and skip on the way to the huge library the Princess claimed they had.

It was awhile since she last saw Prince Elvin or his father. With her father getting older by the days, she had to take care of tasks every now and than. With the castle, townspeople, and politics with other kingdoms. She didn't even think she could honestly take of this, but she had no choice in the matter.

You will be a great Queen, Jezbel. Just like your mother before she died. And whomever you decide your King will be, he will be a good King alongside you. I have confidence in you my daughter.

"If only you were right father."Jezbel sighed, as her handmaidens were getting her dressed for tonight. It was going to be a big night, as her father planned a masquerade ball for her sixteenth birthday. Anyone to everyone would be there. Which also included, Elvin. She hoped she would see him. He did always make her day.

"Don't you worry about tonight, Princess. You'll have a good night and enjoy your birthday. I bet it will be fun."Lindsey, one of her favorite handmaidens said with a smile. "Thank you, Lindsey. You always know how to make me smile. I guess than, I'll be off with the mask."She said, before curtsying and heading out the door to find her father.

Prince Elvin had arrived at the prime age of 16 only a month before Princess Jezebel. Just the other day, an invention was sent right to him. Today was the Princess's birthday which was planned to be a masquerade. He sighed as his carriage arrived at the castle a few minutes late.

He thanked his coach driver before climbing out before his father, who insisted that he come as well. Maybe chat up a storm the other king. Elvin excused himself before disappearing in the direction of the garden. If Jezebel knew he was here, she would know exactly where to find him.

[I had an idea, if you're interested. Perhaps, aside from Prince Elvin being the one whose suppose/going to be her King later on, there's another guy she notices as well. He can be a demon, vampire, fey, etc...? So it causes some drama between her and Elvin. Just an idea to spice it up.]

Jezbel was already down the grand staircase, greeting people as they came, curtsying as necessary. Every so often she would hear comments, about how she was going to be queen soon or her birthday. She rather not hear about either as it was already unnerving her. All she did truly want to do - see was Elvin.

With a bright smile, she picked up the skirts of her dress and decided to head to the garden. "Just maybe, he's there after all."She said softly with a giggle.

Prince Elvin sat on one of the benches admiring the flower to the left of him. Ever since the princess had brought him there, he was attracted. He hoped princess Jezebel would realize he was down here, waiting for her. He turned his attention to the one on the right and sniffed it. The scent was so fresh.He was too busy with the flowers he did not even notice the princess was standing in front of him.
