Thanks, Allison. Now that storm's over, I'll be able to get back to reading.

I just got into this section. That was certainly an unusual near-tryst between Grady and Erica.

It was so touching and sweet and romantic and then...over? He switched gears that fast? I couldn't believe it. I just keep hoping those 2 will get together but not yet apparently, lol. They have the worst timing of anybody ever.

J Sorry to be late to the table - was out of town in a rural area where service was spotty at best. Poor Erica really does have her romantic problems with Grady...do we detect something brewing with Matthew?
Grady's behavior confuses me but I find a lot of these characters difficult to keep track of.

Jill Tool | 992 comments OH CRAP! I just figured out why everything you guys have been saying didn't make sense to me, nor did this or that happened. I'm reading the wrong book!!!!!!!! I'll get to reading the right one here in a day or two. Let me finish this one that I'm reading, even if it's the wrong one, it's pretty good!

PugMom (nicoleg76) | 2014 comments I'm catching up!! Had an hour ride to the car dealer for service (I made my husband drive) and I got to read a bit. He noticed I was laughing out loud every so often. I'm really loving these characters!

Yes, it does appear that Matthew is going to upset the Erica:Grady business. And now the twins (they are kinda spooky, aren't they?) are apparently involved!

Pghfan, that scene with the goose. LOL I'm not so sure I'd like those twins as friends. Too much work.

PugMom (nicoleg76) | 2014 comments Why the heck does that woman have a goose as a pet?? LOL OH, I know! Otter Lake is full of crazy people! What fun!

LOL, Nicole. Spoke with a former PI and told her about goose scene in Pumpkin and she started laughing. Seems she knew someone who had a similar encounter with one. She said instead of them having a guard dog, they kept the goose on property to chase off suckers who'd try to steal their lumber and building material. LOL Funny.

I'm moving along here and ready to go on! Honestly, after all this, Erica and Grady are just now getting their first kiss?

PugMom (nicoleg76) | 2014 comments I'm ready to go on too. Lots of things seem to be getting in their way. Not sure where their "thing" is headed at this point.

This is a first...I set Pumpkin book and magazine down at doc's waiting room while clerk called me to window for last minute info and when I returned both were gone! Poof! I looked around, one person was gone but no one else seemed to register a look or have them. Nuts! I was only on pg. 92. Whodunit, indeed?!

I'll follow along and perhaps piece things together with what I've read and be happy with that. Karma. I hope their pages stick together!

Allison | 905 comments I set up the 3rd Section as I am sure most all PI's are ready...

LOL, Tina, I've heard of leaving books at the Dr's Office but not taking any!

Hi Tina,
I just saw your post. I think I have an ARC or two left over. I'd be happy to mail you a copy. If you want, just email me at auraleewallace@gmail.com with your contact info. It's no problem at all...I'm always drowning in books!

Thanks so much for the kind offer, Auralee. It's okay. I'll follow along with the others and read the first in your series and forthcoming books so that should catch me up okay. But I do appreciate the offer. So kind of you! There are some authors who are so good to their fans. You are at the top of that list. Thanks! ;-)

Thanks, Tina! And the offer still stands if you change your mind. :)

Thanks you, Auralee. Most appreciated.

BTW, how many books do you plan for your series or is that something you can't call yet?

I hope to have an answer to that question really soon, Tina. The last book in my current contract is coming out in February. What comes after that is still up in the air. I have my fingers crossed though.

I'd imagine it's difficult to say how long a series will go. Sometimes it's not the author but agents and publishers who have the last say. :-/

So true, Tina. It usually comes down to sales. My agent has told me sales have been good so far, but we will have to see.
