It was so touching and sweet and romantic and then...over? He switched gears that fast? I couldn't believe it. I just keep hoping those 2 will get together but not yet apparently, lol. They have the worst timing of anybody ever.

Grady's behavior confuses me but I find a lot of these characters difficult to keep track of.

LOL! That's awesome Jill! So what book are you reading?

Death of a Pumpkin Carver
Yes, it does appear that Matthew is going to upset the Erica:Grady business. And now the twins (they are kinda spooky, aren't they?) are apparently involved!
Pghfan, that scene with the goose. LOL I'm not so sure I'd like those twins as friends. Too much work.

LOL, Nicole. Spoke with a former PI and told her about goose scene in Pumpkin and she started laughing. Seems she knew someone who had a similar encounter with one. She said instead of them having a guard dog, they kept the goose on property to chase off suckers who'd try to steal their lumber and building material. LOL Funny.
I'm moving along here and ready to go on! Honestly, after all this, Erica and Grady are just now getting their first kiss?

This is a first...I set Pumpkin book and magazine down at doc's waiting room while clerk called me to window for last minute info and when I returned both were gone! Poof! I looked around, one person was gone but no one else seemed to register a look or have them. Nuts! I was only on pg. 92. Whodunit, indeed?!
I'll follow along and perhaps piece things together with what I've read and be happy with that. Karma. I hope their pages stick together!

LOL, Tina, I've heard of leaving books at the Dr's Office but not taking any!

Hi Tina,
I just saw your post. I think I have an ARC or two left over. I'd be happy to mail you a copy. If you want, just email me at auraleewallace@gmail.com with your contact info. It's no problem at all...I'm always drowning in books!
Auralee
Thanks so much for the kind offer, Auralee. It's okay. I'll follow along with the others and read the first in your series and forthcoming books so that should catch me up okay. But I do appreciate the offer. So kind of you! There are some authors who are so good to their fans. You are at the top of that list. Thanks! ;-)

Thanks, Tina! And the offer still stands if you change your mind. :)
Thanks you, Auralee. Most appreciated.
BTW, how many books do you plan for your series or is that something you can't call yet?

I hope to have an answer to that question really soon, Tina. The last book in my current contract is coming out in February. What comes after that is still up in the air. I have my fingers crossed though.
I'd imagine it's difficult to say how long a series will go. Sometimes it's not the author but agents and publishers who have the last say. :-/
