Do you, as a potential reader, research those who rate a book with 1 star, like maybe look at their history, see if they rate most books with 1 star? For instance, a reader whose initials are SR gave Leverage 1-star on the same day she also gave book 1, The Mistaken, 1 star. My question: if she really read the first book & hated it, why read second? My thought? She's one of those readers authors often refer to as "trolls" who 1-star books they aren't interested in, maybe as a way to keep track, or maybe just to be hateful, I don't know. Yeah, I'm sure there's a joke there somewhere. I'll let someone else make it though.

I also find it annoying when a 'reader' can't be bothered writing a comment with that 1 star rating. What's the point of that? But then again, I suppose it would be hard to write a comment about a book you haven't read.
