Please keep all discussion and speculation to the events of Part 7 (Chapters 30-36).

No spoiler tags required. Though it would be highly appreciated if you Uncheck Add to my Update Feed to avoid accidentally spoiling this for your good read friends.

Please do not discuss events from later chapters/books. Referring back to events from a previous section/book is fine

Finally things are picking up. So much good stuff here, where to start?

I guess first I have to start with Nyneave healing Logain and Suan and Lianna. Although Logain seems to be restored to his original power while Suan and Lianna are far weaker than they used to be. Of course they aren't happy and want to be healed again.

I suspect the difference equates to the differences in the power. Some of the yellows (who all want to observe, criticize and critique what she did) mention how she seemed to "bore" into them. That's how Rand describes creating a gateway works to Egwyene. I suspect a more delicate technique would be require to heal them properly.

Then Egwyene is called back to meet the exiled sisters and thinks it's because she's been caught pretending to be Aes Sedai, but in fact they want to raise her to Armyln Seat.

I suspect they picked her because they feel like they'll be able to manipulate her and she was a "neutral" choice to appease all sides.

Interestingly she went to the dream world in the flesh and was able to travel nearly as quickly as a gateway does. She rides dream Bella. I love Bella. It's always great when she shows back up.

Meanwhile Rand spies on their meeting and discovers where Elaine is as a result. He goes to Mat to gateway the Band to "escort her to Caemyln". Avienda is going with him.

I suspect that things won't go quite as easily as Mat or Rand think/hope they will.

Overall this section is so much better and has more plot development than pretty much the entire book before it combined. Hopefully this pace remains for the rest of the book.

Bill | 1596 comments I was so happy when they picked Egwene. It hopefully means that her squad can finally get some stuff done. Earlier in the book someone overheard Sheriam and crew saying something about using someone who had no affiliation with the old tower so I assumed they were talking Egwene.

I need to look up names but wanted to put this down before I forgot about it completely. The woman who showed up after Siuan talked to her friend is totally the Forsaken who was torturing the Aes Sedai and her warder. I can't remember if it was Graendal or Semirhage.

Dream Bella was awesome. Isn't real Bella in Salidere? I though Siuan used her to get away from the tower.

I can't see Mat showing up to escort Elaine going well after how she reacted to Rand GIVING her the Lion throne. I can see him getting along with Gareth though. Maybe turning that army into a force to be reckoned with. Things are going to be especially tense with Aveindha trying to sort out her toh.

I don't know why since he hasn't been all that interesting so far but I am really excited that Logain has his power back. Probably because of Min seeing glory in his future.

Yeah, that's my assumption too. Her ties to the Wise Ones can't hurt either.

I'm pretty sure it's a Forsaken too, but I don't recall the torture scene you reference. Was that this book? I recall when she shows up she mentions another Black Ajai sister though.

Yeah, it's going to be interesting to see what becomes of that. Right now though, he's trapped with the Aes Sedai. Will he join Rand eventually? Oppose Rand? It seems like Rand offers his best chance for freedom. I think that's the only reason Mazrim Taim is there.

Bill | 1596 comments So the Forsaken is Semirhage. The torture scene was in chapter 6.

Hmm. OK.

There was also Arangar showing up some where I did not get the exact location.

I think these chapters were definitely better and shorter than what we had at the start of the book.

Bill | 1596 comments Is Arangar one of the brought back Forsaken?

Yep. I think it was Asangar not Arangar. Also the next section we know who the black sister in Salidar is.
