i think starting the botm with a standalone is a good idea. everyone (mainly new members) will develope a system andthen we can move on to the long complex stuff like series.

That's strange, Colleen Hoover was recommended to me as a Young Adult / New Adult Romance author so I was under the impression that her books were reasonably 'clean', which is my usual preference, thanks for letting me know that such is not the case!
