I like it but don't love it. I would put it a step above Shattered Sands but not as good as Moontide Quartet both of which are similar settings and story arcs.

I've only been posting my monthly totals since I've been really good at staying under ten series open since getting down to 4 at the close of last year. I'm back at 4 again but I figured I'd post for a milestone hitting 50 completed series when I finished Echoes of Empire today. If not for the challenge I'd probably be at half that for finished and 3X that for open.

I have new BRs starting new series before I can close ones that are open which are also involving BRs. If I can schedule it out right I might be able to do it for the end of this year.

Well done Scott. You are so good at keeping your open series so low. I'm not going to get that low anytime soon as my new series seem to far outweigh my finishing series. I'm blaming it on another group I'm where I start too many series with the book of the months.

Considering where I started I'm really happy to be where I'm at. I think the most freeing thing about it is I now feel no guilt over letting series go which I would have clung to for no good reason. It's the writers fault not ours.
