MB Taylor I'd like to combine the two books titled "Reducing Territorial Frameworks". One is by "Fujisawa Shuko" and the other is by "Shuko Fujisawa". Each form of the author's name is used for multiple books.

Is there any way to do this?

Z-squared | 8575 comments you need to merge the author profiles. doing so will automatically combine all the books under one name. then you can combine them together. i'm not sure what the rules are for surname order for japanese authors on Goodreads, though. might want to search the manual and/or discussion posts before choosing which name to keep.

Emy (emypt) | 5037 comments Shuko Fujisawa is the Goodreads form for this author, IIRC. Presuming it's the Go player that is :)

MB Taylor Thanks; I'll see if I can figure all that out. (And yes it's the Go player.)

FWIW:

Fujisawa Shuko has 6 distinct works and Shuko Fujisawa has 3.

Emy (emypt) | 5037 comments 1. Edit Fujisawa Shuko
2. Put Shuko Fujisawa into the author box
3. Save
4. Agree to the merge into Shuko Fujisawa
5. Go to combine page and work from there :)

MB Taylor Thanks again. That seems pretty easy.
