T.L. Clark (tlcauthor) | 727 comments So, in Aug I bought x10 ISBNs from Nielsen (I'm a UK author).
I used one to put on my newly launched paperback.

Since then, I've discovered to get the book registered on their database properly (so the likes of Waterstones) can order it.
So, I've created a Nielsen Title Editor account, finally got accepted.

Just logged in, and it says that ISBN is on their system but not registered to my organisation, and I had to 'click here to claim book'.

Is this normal??
Or has my expensive ISBN somehow been claimed by another person???

(only having a mild heart attack here)

T.L. Clark (tlcauthor) | 727 comments Hey Steve! :)
Please stipulate honest in that review comment. It wasn't a swap. (just before I get into trouble, I just want to make that clear)

And of course I remember you.

Steve King (stking) | 57 comments Yes will clarify that with T L Clark it was NOT a review swap!

I've since had an email back saying they're now producing the "skeleton" as the ISBN came via a 3rd party feed?? Nielsen vs Nielsen Title Editor maybe??

Apparently, I'll then be able to add some details.

It's all very confusing. But it seems to be in hand. I'll stop panicking. :)

Glad it all seems to have worked out. I would have been panicking too.
