Beth (k9odyssey) Discuss the unusual relationship between Laura and Carmilla as well as supporting characters in the story.

Omaid ibn Naimet I found it peculiar how Laura did not feel scared of this unusual and creepy person that Carmilla was. She was an isolated person, who never really had people of her age around, and people like Laura are introverts. I felt it really odd how from the very beginning their interaction was as if of two lesbians in awe of each other. It was subtle, still could be felt.

George P. There was definitely a lot of sexual connotations in the things Carmilla said to Laura, not so subtle really. Laura didn't respond in kind, but she was so happy to have a "friend" that she would just chide Carmilla to stop talking so much foolishness, and didn't seriously reproach her.

Omaid ibn Naimet Ahan... That could be the case. Cons of fast reading :D
