Lynn L | 152 comments Twain would use a child because of the innocence that a child can believably portray.

John Seymour Children are open to having their world views shifted in ways adults generally are not. Or at least a lot less so.

I agree that Huck as a youth has the freedom to change. His world view is not fixed yet. His attitudes are still developing.
