Was the ending satisfying, fit the book? If not how would you change it?

Tracy (tstan) | 559 comments No. Putting all the blame on Janice for the baby's death and then running again was beyond the pale. This was when I was hoping for a bus to hit his sorry butt.

Pip | 1822 comments The end is ambiguous and left the reader wanting to know what Rabbit does next, which is quite an authorial feat when he is such an unlikeable character! Does he succeed this time in running away? does he eventually realise his responsibilities? does he chose Janice, or Ruth, or both of them? Actually it is a brilliant ending!
