We will be reading only the first volume of this book: The Sword in the Stone. Please do not get the abridged version. My copy has not come from the library yet but as soon as it does I will post a reading schedule and some background information on the book and the author.

I did get this book from my library. I have not yet started it however, as I have been trying to catch up and finish many other books I have on the go. I still plan to read it as soon as I can. Since all I know is the Disney version, I am excited to read the classic story.
The story is fairly like the movie but has more depth and is the first of four books.
