SOLVED. main character worked as an editor for romance novels [s]

i read it in late 2010, it was chicklit/new adult. i dont remember the main character's name but she worked as an editor at a romance publishing company, she had a roommate with a boyfriend named mark, she had a friend that would order lemon drops at the bar and count her calories obsessively, she had an ex boyfriend that was in india for a while, and then came back. it was set in a large city. boston maybe? im not sure.
