It's not realistic at all. When I read in this book that their only kiss was during the Hurricane in the last book, I just laughed. What are they waiting for?
Again, she writes their relationship like their adolescents. All this angst isn't realistic for two divorced people of their age.
I feel like Kava is shy about having her series labeled a romance. Either write it well or leave it alone.

You're right, Lauren. She shouldn't even attempt to put any romance in these books. She sets us up and then nothing happens.
Well, I thought this book gave us a better insight into Benjamin's angst, when we see his ex-wife moved on and had a baby. He had not moved very far emotionally.I've lost the timeline now with Maggie's divorce, but she seems to be more open to dalliances, maybe just not a serious relationship?
She's had one true dalliance and that was with Adam, the guy in New Haven. She's danced around with Nick and Benjamin.
