Maggie is thrust into the role of investigator instead of a profiler. Your thoughts about that aspect of the series taking a back seat?

[Robin]

Well, she seems to do just about everything except profile, so why change now?

I wish she would have taken over the investigation instead of sitting back and listening to the sheriff question everyone.

[Jonetta]

She did seem to straddle the role...at times being aggressive, at others staying on the periphery. I never could grasp exactly what she wanted to do.

[Charlene]

Ditto. I imagined that she knew she was to go give lectures in a matter of hours, a long drive away. Her confusion over her boss's motives also may have led to her ambiguity about taking the lead.
