Harry begins a relationship with Julia Brashar, a rookie cop. Why do you think he took this risk, knowing it was a policy violation? What did you think of his decision to keep seeing her?

Robin (robinmy) | 1214 comments Harry didn't care if his job was hurt by the policy violation. He was knowingly thumbing his nose at it. He did seem to care if Brashar was hurt by their being together and warned her about it.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments Robin, I think you're right here, too. I also felt that Harry was so lonely that he took the risk to have a relationship with someone who attracted him.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments Harry is the last person to care about policy violations. He felt the attraction, realized it was mutual and acted on it.

He has terrible taste in women though!

I agree with all of you. Harry's beyond the point of caring about departmental policy (thank you, Irving) and found mutual attraction with Julia. Not smart for a lot of reasons, least of all for Julia.

Robin (robinmy) | 1214 comments You're right Lauren. He does have terrible taste in women.
