5 chapters At first it was kind of hard for me to keep the many characters straight, but I have a pretty good handle on them now.

Beth(view spoiler)[ well....I think she already ticked him off. with him thinking she was a friend and then realizing she'd started telling HIS secrets. I mean, who does that? but I guess August knew what kind of person she was when he got involved with their pact (hide spoiler)]

Thea(view spoiler)[ Yeah....she doesn't seem to be making the best choices, for sure (hide spoiler)]

Jacob(view spoiler)[ I agree. although, Did i miss/forget where he fit into the story? I know he figured out the location without the clues and THAT was cheating.....but who was he to everyone? just some guy? what did he do to Alexa? do we know

According to Beth(view spoiler)[ Yeah, but I think august changed AFTER she betrayed him. I think she was the final straw. He thought he might be able to hang on if just ONE PERSON didn't let him down....
I feel bad for everyone! They all grew up kind of screwy so they are all making pretty poor choices

Yes, you either missed or forgot where Jacob fit in. He is the one who (view spoiler)[ told Alexa that Morgan wanted her to come to his party that was supposed to be for the "in crowd" only, but he was actually getting revenge on Morgan for messing up his bike. He slept with Alexa and she thought he really liked her but he didn't. So he left her at the pool crying but kept saying he didn't do it, and he hadn't locked the gate. So he's a creep if nothing else! (hide spoiler)]

Thea (view spoiler)[is the girl that Jacob really was lusting after and seemed to be a main reason he went to the party plus the fact it was like the last and best party ever. I'm worried for her! (hide spoiler)]

I wonder what finally drove him to kill them all. I think......he almost told Robin when they were kissing - I think he really is sad she's there. I think that's why it's called The Rules - not just because everyone has rules but because Kyle always stayed within the rules. Until now.....lol I might be wrong but I wonder what he lucked out on last year....what his grand prize was because he was the one who should have one...I remember Beth saying or thinking that (hide spoiler)]

but I just knew Kyle was guilty.....he just wasn't acting right. and the faked trip so he was separated from Robin...I didn't believe him for a minute.
but I never would have guessed Drew. Hiro maybe but not drew
but I guess it makes senes. we never could have guessed Kyle's motive other than the rule breaking (hide spoiler)]

yay!!! I'm so glad you loved it too! wasn't it a fun one! so much like a typical horror movie - I loved all the twists and turns and the descriptions and I love that half of the group was completely irrational most of the time!
