Friday October 7 is world smile day. So we can review a book that made us smile (wicked smiles would also count in my book).
October 6 1927 - 1st motion picture with sound. Read a book that was made into a movie
Saturday, October 1 - National Ghost Hunting Day - Read a book that features a ghost or a haunted house.
Read a book that has something to do with a cemetery (title or location in the book).
Harry Houdini died Oct. 31st 1926. Read a book that has to do with magic.

Our October theme will be : Books made into a movie. (suggested by Licha-Olivia)
Instead of your moderators coming up with three "themes" for the group to vote on ... we invite YOU to nominate a theme for next month. Could be a specific genre, a cover image, a title word, an author initial...
ONE nomination per member
To encourage participation the person who nominated LAST month's winning theme cannot nominate this month. So, Terris, you won't be able to submit a nomination (though you WILL be able to vote).
Deadline: 27 Sept 16 (or 5 nominations, whichever comes first)
Once the nominations are closed, we'll set up a poll for membership to vote on the theme for next month.
