Where do I find user_id

I am trying to make an API call to get an xml with books I am currently reading. I need user_id as one of the parameters, how do I get it?

An extremely non-technical way to get your own user_id is to grab it from your goodreads' page's url: https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/1...

It is 15768482.
