I just stumbled across The Nameless Dwarf tetraglogy on Amazon and looked up the first book in the series (Carnifex: A Portent of Blood) here. Reviews seem very positive but before pulling the purchasing trigger I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone in the group knows much about the books or the author? I trust you guys!

I don't know if you received any replies or if you read the books, but my feeling is that these stories might appeal to readers who enjoy Moorcock, Gemmell, Howard, Lin Carter etc, who were the writers I grew up reading. I never really got on well with the post 80s fantasy scene, with one or two exceptions (Abercrombie and Donaldson). The Nameless Dwarf books are my homage to the books I used to love reading.
