SamZ (samwisezbrown) I would like to nominate Freefall by Traci Hunter Abramson. My review: I really liked the story! I got burned out on LDS romance/adventure when I was in high school and they all seemed to be a carbon copy of each other. However, when my mom suggested I read Abramson, I decided to give it a try. So glad I did! Characters are believable and situations work out well without getting too preachy.

Julie | 58 comments I'd like to nominate I Spy by Jordan McCollum (I love her quirky characters) and The Captain by Julie Coulter Bellon. Lots of clean action/adventure.

Tracey (traceyrb) I would like to nominate Moonfleet. This is a beautiful story told in the smuggling era in Cornwall England. Full of Christian virtue.
A novel of claustrophobic darkness, storm-wracked seas, and wild romantic landscapes, it sweeps the reader irresistibly along, like the deadly undertow at Moonfleet Beach." --"Washington Post"

Or The Children of the New Forest
An engaging adventure story set in England during the time of the Civil War when King Charles was deposed and the Roundheads were vying with the Cavaliers. The central characters are the four children of staunch Royalist Colonel Beverley killed in battle while fighting for King Charles. Through the efforts of aged forester Jacob Armitage, the children escape the burning of their ancestral home and take up residence with him in his cottage in the New Forest.
Again full of adventure of true Christian faith.

SamZ (samwisezbrown) I have set up the poll for this month here:
https://www.goodreads.com/poll/show/1...
I will also allow write-in votes for this month.

This thread will become a master list of good, clean action reads. Come back whenever you read one and let us know how it went (good or bad)!

SamZ (samwisezbrown) The votes are in! We will be reading The Captain by Julie Coulter Bellon, so be sure to read along and post your thoughts in that thread. This will become a thread to share about clean reads that are action/adventure books.
