Fall Fear Challenge 2016!

Fall is upon us. There is a chill in the air. The days are shorter, the nights longer, and the shadows take on lives of their own when the wind blows. Time to curl up in your favorite chair with a blanket, a warming drink, the pets and a good book. We want to keep that delicious chill alive, so we're looking for atmospheric, seasonal tales of fear. Quiet horror. Here is a link with 31 suggestions for your reading pleasure.

Enter in how many books you are challenging yourself to read. (As many or as few as you like!), then name a shelf so Goodreads can track it for you. (For example: FALL FEAR CHALLENGE). That's it!

Click on CHALLENGES on the top right of this page, (under Group Home, Bookshelf, etc...)
Just enter in the total number of books you want to read between now and Halloween, and name a shelf so that Goodreads can track it for you. Easy Peasy!

Okay duh, I see you added more to what I just asked. Lol. I'm starting in Oct since I have a ton of books in groups called my Oct challenge. Well it's got a huge title in the groups but that shortens it up.

That's strange. ?? Let me try it myself and see what happens.

Perhaps making the shelf ahead of time is the problem, because it worked for me. ?
I entered 5 books, and I named a shelf Fall Fear Challenge 2016. It seems to have worked. I then went to my shelves and the FFC2016 shelf is there. Good to go.

I always thought I was a fast reader until I joined goodreads so I think I'll put my target at 5.

It wouldn't let me add my shelf either until I added it exactly as goodreads had it listed - you know how goodreads likes to swap the spaces for dashes and change the capital letters to lower case in your shelf names

You can choose whichever books you want! Jon's list is just a guide to some spooky books for the Halloween season. Just to be sure to put them on the shelf that you named for the challenge. That way Goodreads will track it for you.
