I thought weekly comics were not supposed to be listed on Goodreads, only the compilations?ETA Oh, right. Kindle editions. *backs away*
ETA2 Or is the one on Amazon a compilation issue, seeing that it's #4 dated August?
I find that the year helps when using the search or managing the series (so "Title # (2016-)"), especially with the several DC reboots leading to same tiles with same numbers. For the series, it's complicated as weekly issues shouldn't be on Goodreads but obviously it's impossible to prevent users to add them. As a user & librarian, I prefer a complete series with on the top the volumes (numbered as books and primary), then deluxe editions (numbered as 1-2, 3-4, etc, not primary) and then the issues (not numbered, not primary, but in order). I saw many different ways to deal with the comics, it's the one I find the nearest to GR policy but someone else could have a totally different opinion on the subject.

1. I've been working on the DC Universe Rebirth comics currently being produced. I've been basing my series names and numbering from the publisher's website at dccomics.com, but Amazon lists them differently. I've noticed on GR, lots of comic series are listed as Comic Name (Series Name (Year - ) #), or variations along those lines (like this or this). Some websites list comics that way and often, that's what Amazon has. The DC website lists the series name differently.
Example: Wonder Woman 2016 #4

How I listed it on GR
So, I'm wondering what format to follow?
2. Regarding compilations of weekly comics, how should they be listed? We started discussing them here and I got a little clarification, but should these be a different series like Krazykiwi suggested they could be? Or should they be listed like how I have them here? Or something different?
I'd love your feedback. I'm pretty new at this librarian thing, but couldn't find anything really addressing comics! Sorry if I missed something, but I'd love to get things more consistent with this :)
