Hal (hfgottfried) | 2 comments Hello, I've filled out the "Is this you" a couple times but I'm not sure if it's going anywhere. Would it be possible to have some one merge or combine my two profiles (author and standard account).

The cover is being finallized and I can update shortly.

What information do I need to provide

Thanks!!

Dobby (dobby0390) | 7953 comments To claim an author page, you must have a published (or nearly published) book on Goodreads. Your book is showing an expected publication date of April, 2017.

Once your author profile has been processed, staff will upgrade your user account to an author account and merge it with your current reader profile. Since you have two reader profiles and since your expected publication date is 7 months away, you need to contact Goodreads Support for assistance.

You can find more information on the Author Program here.

By the way, your book listing is showing a format of Kindle, with ISBNs. Kindle formats do not have ISBNs; they have ASINs, assigned by Amazon.

ETA: Sorry about that! I should have said you have a reader profile and an unclaimed author profile. My apologies!

Abcdarian | 26579 comments This one https://www.goodreads.com/author/show... is an author profile that Hal has presumably added all the details to, not a reader profile. (He is a librarian.)

Dobby (dobby0390) | 7953 comments Of course, Abcdarian; I don't know what I was thinking. Edited my post to correct my error. [thumps head on keyboard!]

Hal (hfgottfried) | 2 comments In regards to the ISBN comment, when I started the book through Amazon one of the items you are required to do is create / purhcase / obtain an ISBN number (which I did). I am assuming that once the book is finalized that number will become the ASIN you're speaking of.

Abcdarian | 26579 comments Only kindles have ASINs, as Dobby0390 mentioned above; they are assigned by Amazon.
