Help on editing an edition

To answer your questions:
1. Everyman's Library should indeed be removed from the title field and added to the edition field.
2. Title should be as on the cover, so Émile. The sort-by-title field is usually the same as the title, no policy to remove accents.
3. Add the author for the introduction (add new author) and fill in "Introduction" in the "Role" field.
4. Those changes can't be removed from the changelog. Undo would make it worse.
Sorry for the long topic from an overly-cautious novice librarian! Your guidance would be most welcome.
No problem. When in doubt, please ask.

While there isn't an actual policy, I think it works the same way as with the author sort field, so no accents/diacritics is better.

All editions with Émile as title also have the accent in the sorting field.

I won't go out of my way to check accents in sort title fields, but I also don't in sort author fields. Only when I'm in the edit page or an author is sorted on the wrong name.
1. Title includes edition
It's my understanding that "(Everyman's Library)" should not appear in the title, it belongs in the Edition field. The changelog shows that the edition name was removed from the title in 2012 (though not added to the Edition field), but it was added back to the title again in 2014! Should I remove it again?
2. Title doesn't match what's on the cover
While the English translation is often titled Émile: or, on Education, in this particular edition both the dust jacket cover and the title page give it as simply Émile. The spine also has the single word, but just to confuse things, the spine of the dust jacket says Émile or Education, with "Émile" in bold. I'm inclined to stick with what's on the title page (i.e. delete "on Education" from the GR title). Also, my understanding of GR policy is that the accent on the "E" should be retained in the title since it's what appears in all places in the actual edition. What do others think on these 2 approaches? And should the accent be included in the "sort by title" field?
3. Introduction
A third author, André Boutet de Monvel, provides a 5-page introduction. Is it appropriate to add him, and if so, how do I identify that he wrote the introduction?
4. Undoing or deleting an edit
I clicked on the arrow that swaps the 1st and 2nd author, not knowing what the arrow did and not realising that changes happen straight away, without having to "save". Oops! I clicked on it again to reverse what I'd done, but these two self-canceling edits now appear in the changelog and I'd prefer to delete them. What happens if I click on "undo" for each of them - does this delete them, or does it simply add a further two unnecessary edits?
