What do you think Evie would have done the night of the murders had she been there?

.

Marykate | 21 comments I think if it was Mitch, she would have gone along. Hopefully, seeing the mom and kid would have snapped her out of the weird obsession with crazy Suzanne. Evie didn't have a horrible life. She had a Mom who loved her so I can't imagine her partaking in the destruction and murder of that bond.

I don't know. I think she could have been easily swayed into it. She wanted suzanne's acceptance so much.

Kelin Calabria | 2 comments A huge part of me think she would have participated. She lost her sense of moral decency. She allowed herself to go, unafraid into her neighbor's house . She never once expresses regret over her choice to be with the cult and her participation in the daily life at the farm (stealing, using drugs, lying to her family, etc) . She expresses confusion over her encounter with Russel and then Mitch but never do we hear of her being upset or in regret . A fourteen year old should shed some tears. The strongest feeling she has is insecurity, and in that, winning Suzanne's affection would be enough for her to hold the knife. Even as an adult I don't get the major sense of loss or regret, just resignation that it happened.

Yeah I agree she didnt have a huge amount of regret as an adult that you would expect.
