You can flag (some of) their comments on the recommendations for Support to look at.Please remove the links from your comment, it is against GR policy to name and shame.
Next to the flagging, you can also reply to their comments that spam is not tolerated and they should stop.
So nothing like Facebook blocking? This person keeps promoting their own book on others. I've got twenty so far...
The TBR Pile wrote: "I'm sorry, I'm not trying to shame anyone. Is there a way to block people?"That was just my shorthand description :)
You can block people but I've never done it, so I don't know how it works exactly. (Flagging works really well BTW, those comments are usually gone very quickly. But be aware that the weekend is approaching.)

The TBR Pile wrote: "So nothing like Facebook blocking? This person keeps promoting their own book on others. I've got twenty so far..."Our comments crossed. GR authors (should) know that it is spamming to promote their own books like this, so definitely flag. He'll probably spam others too.
at the very bottom of the author or user profile is a faint link "Block Person" click on that and it will stop the person contacting you. There are some bugs with it that have been reported in the feedback group since the new home page. But I find it pretty effective. You can only block a user for yourself.

This is not a Librarians Group issue, but one for the Contact Us link on the Help page. Librarians can help with issues pertaining to specific book records or most related issues, but have no control over general site functionality or related issues. Closing thread.

There are many more! I'm not sure what I should do. Thanks again!
