It was an enjoyable post to read, Megan. Curiously enough, one of your titles Between Light and Dark is very similar to the title I was thinking of for the third book in my series (currently in editing and revision.) I have no idea what the odds of that is...

Funnily enough, my initial thought went:
light & dark -> chiaroscuro
and you could take this further:
chiaroscuro -> Claire the Obscure
though that's a little too Thomas Hardy for a vampire book.
