THE OBSESSION is typical Nora Roberts fare. I really like Nora's writing, and haven't read one of her books in a while.
Naomi is the main character, and has some unusual circumstances involving her father. She is having a hard time in life, and decides to settle down on the northwest coast, where she meets friends and of course the local hot rock-star mechanic!
She also finds and ends up adopting a stray dog "TAG" (because he tags along.....). He is a fun character in the book. The characters of Nora and Xander (hot guy) are also well developed, but the others are pretty much peripheral. A who-dun-it filled with love and a little sex :-)
I liked how Nora Roberts sets up certain characters as the ones who could be the bad guy, but I think I figured out who is was around 75% through because I could see who it wasn't. Recommended for her fans!
