Ya this is the one.. i thought it was a children's song/poem.. Anyway when we were in VN, Shrija learnt this one and could recite it. She would sing it everywhere and we were given Royal treatment!! imagine an Indian kid singing a Vietnamese song!! :) :)

Ya Fong - they did fall in love with her.. in fact, when we visited the market for veggies or the supermarket all the girls there would tell us to go ahead and do the shopping while they played with her.. :) And also once when we were in Saigon in a taxi, the cab fellow charged us less than what was the normal fare because he said he can't get over the fact of her singing!! She made all the locals fall in love with her completely.. it was fun!!

@Ishita - no not really!! We wanted a name starting from S as everyone in our family had it.. it was silly at that time but I was adamant. My dad got this name, it means daughter of lakshmi and fitted well with us :) *my in laws are pretty conservative*
@Ishi -- no mother is NOT terrified!! :P :P She's a nightmare on wheels at times :P :P

@Fong - she's such a social kid that she simply lapped up all the adulation and kept doing interesting things!! She just did not realise what the fuss was all about!! But if it got her things, well.. what's the harm!! :P :P

I've heard my mum say that about me billions of times ! And she does that even now -__-
She wouldn't meet my teachers and simply say, "she's not my responsibility when she's in school". Makes me feel like she's abandoning me or something :P
